Charity and Education
Our charitable status enables us to dedicate time to sharing our research at meetings and seminars, and to publish it in international peer-reviewed journals.
We also promote the positive and necessary role geoscientists have in enabling the energy transition, and help prepare the next generation of geoscientists through a variety of teaching and mentoring avenues.
CASP also manages and funds the Andrew Whitham CASP Fieldwork Award. This small grant award scheme is aimed at assisting early career geoscientists to conduct applied geological field activities in sedimentary basins.
