Helen Wilson received a BSc in Physics from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Low Temperature Physics from the University of Cambridge. She worked in the scientific instrument industry for several years as a development engineer, before moving into information management. After working for the probation service, a firm of solicitors and on various internet projects she joined CASP in 2005 as the librarian.
